Meet our CEO, Sam Zietz

Sam Zietz, CEO and Founder of TouchSuite, has accomplished a lot throughout his lifetime and has been an excellent example to entrepreneurs looking to thrive. Zietz attended University of Michigan, where he studied business and after graduation, received his JD from St. Thomas University School in Miami, where he graduated first of his class. He then attended the School of Law at New York University, where he earned an LLM in Taxation. After finishing school, Zietz was working as a lawyer for Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, and then a few years later, he moved down to sunny South Florida where he started his company, TouchSuite. He lives in Boca Raton with his wife, Sheila and his three children: Rachel, Jordan and Morgan, who are all young entrepreneurs to-be (if not entrepreneurs already).

Zietz is an active member of multiple organizations including the Young Presidents Organization and the Entrepreneurs Organization, in both which he is a part of the executive board. Throughout his career, he has received multiple honors and awards including the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award, Top 100 Power Leader and 2014 Ultimate CEO, by South Florida Business Journal.

Zietz is incredibly passionate about entrepreneurship and helping young entrepreneurs succeed. He spoke on TEDx in 2014, where he talked about critical points to reaching entrepreneurial achievement. Some key takeaways from his talk include, “The key is to hire the absolute smartest people you can find at the positions that you’re looking to fill. To be the best, you need to hire the best. Paying a 20-30% premium will pay instant dividends. A-players are ten times more productive than B or C-players and the premium that you pay is instantly a credo. I’ll take ten superstars over an army of mediocrity any day of the week. And A-players, they solve problems, and they solve problems that you don’t even know exist yet. And they do it without the constant management and babysitting that other employees require.”

Some inspiring quotes by Zietz:

“Good things do not come to those who wait; they come to those who go get them.”

“You have to take risk to succeed. The secret is to make it a calculated risk, reduce your exposure and ensure that the potential upside far exceeds the risk taken.”
